This notice explains what Brisbane Flood Help (operated by Leonie Cranney, ABN 61 536 758 263) does with the information you give us.
When you send our enquiry form or call our number we collect your name, phone number, suburb, a short description of the problem and anything else you choose to tell us. Calls to our number may be logged (time, duration and the number you called from) so we can confirm that an enquiry reached a specialist.
Brisbane Flood Help is a referral service. We collect your details for one purpose: to pass them to an independent, insured water damage restoration contractor operating in Brisbane so they can contact you, quote and attend. We do not carry out the work ourselves and we do not sell your details to anyone else.
Your enquiry is sent to one local business at a time, chosen for your suburb and the type of job. That business handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may receive a referral fee from that business. If you would like to know which business received your enquiry, email us and we will tell you.
We keep enquiry records for up to 12 months for accounting and to resolve any disputes about referrals, then delete them.
You can ask us to correct or delete your details at any time. You can also ask us not to pass your enquiry on, in which case we will simply delete it. Email hello@brisbanefloodhelp.com.au.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, email us first and we will respond within 14 days. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
